To ensure we provide top-tier service, all new Center Associates must complete The UPS Store’s mandatory Web-Based Training (WBT) program. You will be fully paid for this onboarding time. All WBT modules—covering essential operational skills like Certified Packing standards, Hazmat shipping protocols, and USPS mail compliance—will be completed on-site during your scheduled training shifts.Key Responsibilities
* Customer Service: Greet every customer with a positive attitude, process Amazon drop-offs efficiently, and keep the front lobby moving during peak hours.
* Shipping & Packing: Consult with customers on the best shipping options. Professionally pack fragile or high-value items according to corporate standards to ensure safe transit.
* Print Production: Assist with operating digital printers, copiers, and binding equipment for customer orders.
* Mailbox Management: Sort and distribute daily mail and packages for our private mailbox holders.
* Store Maintenance: Keep the retail floor, packing stations, and back room clean, stocked, and organized.Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience: 1+ years of retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
* Schedule Flexibility: Must have open availability, including the ability to work Saturday and Sunday shifts as needed by the business.
* Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating computer systems, point-of-sale software, and basic office equipment (copiers, scanners).
* Detail-Oriented: Ability to accurately measure, weigh, and input package dimensions.
* Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
* Bonus Skills: An active Texas Notary Public commission or prior shipping experience (UPS, FedEx, USPS) is a huge plus and will reflect in starting pay.How to Apply:
